Role Overview
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is tasked with shaping and driving the company's vision to enable sustainable expansion, enhance enterprise value, and generate lasting benefits for shareholders and stakeholders. As the top executive, the CEO offers strategic guidance and guarantees operational excellence to meet corporate goals across departments. Working closely alongside the Founder, this position transforms the vision and strategy into actionable plans, aligning key initiatives with approved organizational priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft and implement the corporate strategy and business priorities with alignment to the Founder's vision and objectives.
- Design growth strategies to strengthen market presence, accelerate expansion, and boost enterprise value.
- Identify fresh market opportunities, forge strategic partnerships, and initiate new business ventures supporting long-term success.
- Set clear strategic goals with measurable KPIs to track progress against targets.
- Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement throughout the company.
- Lead efforts to grow business revenue, customer base, operational efficiency, and profitability.
- Develop scalable organizational structures and leadership capabilities to back rapid growth.
- Monitor financial and operational metrics to ensure strategy alignment and sound performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competition, and emerging technologies to guide expansion and innovation.
- Drive transformation initiatives enhancing scalability and competitiveness.
- Direct capital raising strategies for product development, markets, and growth goals.
- Lead venture funding rounds such as Seed, Series A and B financing.
- Establish and nurture relationships with VCs, investors, private equity, financial institutions, and strategic partners.
- Collaborate with the Founder, Board, and executives to create investor presentations, financial plans, and fundraising strategies.
- Represent the enterprise during investor meetings, negotiations, and due diligence.
- Ensure transparent communication with investors and board members through regular updates.
- Recruit, mentor, and guide a high-performing executive team.
- Build organizational culture emphasizing accountability, collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Plan for leadership succession and build long-term organizational capability.
- Oversee financial management including budgeting, forecasting, capital allocation, and cash flow.
- Work closely with CFO and leadership on financial risks, investments, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance, legal compliance, and risk management strategies.
- Act as the principal company representative externally, fostering stakeholder relations and public presence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Technology, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- At least 10 years of senior leadership experience in startups or high-growth firms.
- Proven track record of steering growth, operational scaling, and business transformation.
- Extensive experience leading or significantly contributing to venture capital funding rounds.
- Strong skills in investor communications, financial modeling, business planning, and fundraising materials.
- Knowledge of VC financing structures, valuation, cap tables, dilution, and term sheets.
- Established network with venture capitalists, institutional investors, financial institutions, and boards.
- Robust financial literacy covering budgeting, forecasts, capital use, and performance monitoring.
- Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities.
- Work authorization in the United States is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Leadership experience in fintech, financial services, banking, SaaS, or tech sectors.
- Successful venture capital fundraising experience across multiple stages including Pre-Seed and growth rounds.
- Prior executive roles in venture-backed startups or rapidly scaling companies.
- Experience managing mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, or exits such as IPOs.
- Familiarity with regulated environments and corporate governance best practices.
