Position Overview
This role is for a Chief Cook on offshore installations located in Saudi Arabia, specifically aboard a Jack-Up Barge. The candidate will serve on rotations typically lasting 5 months, with a plus or minus 15-day variation. The job involves maintaining food service operations on the vessel within the offshore installations department.
Location and Work Conditions
The duty station is offshore in Saudi Arabia. The work environment is on a Jack-Up Barge, and candidates will undergo rotations as specified above. The position requires the applicant to be proficient in English.
Compensation and Contract Details
The daily wage for this position is $50. The first and all subsequent rotations are approximately 5 months each (± 15 days). The prospective joining date is June 1.
Required Certifications and Experience
- STCW Qualifications and trainings including MLC 2006 3.2, STCW 2010 trainings, and Survival Boat (SB) certification.
- HACCP Level 2 certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a cook at sea.
