Job description

Company Overview

Amplify Talent Partners works with mission-led organizations by offering talent support and complex project management through a customized, equity-centered, and evidence-backed model. The company partners with clients that see investment in people and team capability as a key lever for advancing their mission. Its focus is on helping build inclusive workplaces that reflect organizational values, strengthen capacity, and support long-term, sustainable growth.

Role Summary

The Chief Commercial Officer will serve as a full-time remote leader responsible for driving all commercial and revenue-focused activity at Amplify Talent Partners. This position owns business development, sales, and account management, with the goal of deepening relationships with mission-driven organizations and supporting durable growth. The CCO will shape and implement strategic and business plans, define commercial targets, and oversee budgeting tied to revenue and client-facing initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

In this role, you will identify new market opportunities, refine service offerings, lead proposal development and pricing decisions, and help ensure strong delivery in partnership with project and talent teams. You will also build and coach a commercial team, create performance measures grounded in data, and represent the organization in partnerships and thought-leadership settings.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in business and strategic planning, including the ability to set commercial objectives, design go-to-market approaches, and align growth plans with mission and equity commitments. Experience in sales and account management is needed to win new business, expand existing relationships, and maintain strong client satisfaction and retention. You should also have experience managing budgets and revenue forecasts, allocating resources, and tracking commercial results against targets.

Success in this position requires comfort using data and evidence to guide decisions, improve services, and understand client impact. The right person will have demonstrated people leadership experience, including managing cross-functional groups, mentoring team members, and helping create collaborative, inclusive, and mission-aligned culture. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities are essential, especially when engaging executive-level partners in complex, equity-focused work.

Experience in professional services, consulting, talent management, or a related area is preferred, and work with mission-driven or equity-focused organizations is especially valuable. A bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related discipline is expected; an advanced degree or equivalent senior commercial leadership experience would be an advantage.
