Chemical Technician (1 Year Contract)

Job Overview

This role involves operating various production streams within a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant to meet specific process requirements. The position demands adherence to safety and quality standards, aiming to achieve production targets efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery to meet utilization and quality goals.
• Perform product sampling and carry out routine cleaning of machines.
• Conduct basic preventive maintenance tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in the production area.
• Comply strictly with all safety and quality policies and procedures.
• Work towards meeting the scheduled production targets.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess NITEC or Higher NITEC in Chemical Process Technology, Biotechnology, or a Diploma in relevant fields.
• Applicants without prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry are welcome.
• Must be willing to work at the Tuas location, with shuttle bus service provided.
• Flexible to work 12-hour rotating shifts covering day and night, including weekends.
• Capable of working within a cleanroom environment requiring full gowning.

• Employee status: Fixed-term temporary contract (1 year).

• Shift patterns include 1st (day), 2nd (evening), and 3rd (night) shifts.
