Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Change Portfolio Manager to lead enterprise-wide change portfolios and strategic transformation initiatives. This position involves steering change planning, prioritizing portfolios, engaging stakeholders, assessing organizational readiness, monitoring benefits realization, and fostering cross-functional teamwork to ensure the effective adoption of key initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute enterprise-wide change portfolio strategies, governance frameworks, operating models, and change management methods aligned with corporate goals.
- Administer and enhance portfolios comprising strategic change initiatives, transformation programs, business improvements, and organizational development efforts.
- Collaborate extensively with departments such as Strategy, Transformation, PMO, IT, HR, Finance, Operations, Communications, Risk, various Business Units, and Executive Leadership to ensure successful change outcomes.
- Design portfolio governance procedures including initiative prioritization, resource allocation, dependency tracking, risk analysis, investment monitoring, and executive reporting.
- Create comprehensive change roadmaps, implementation strategies, adoption and stakeholder engagement plans, communication approaches, and conduct organizational readiness evaluations.
- Lead impact assessments to identify effects on stakeholders, business processes, technology, operating models, and workforce capabilities.
- Coordinate change initiatives across multiple programs to maintain alignment, sequence activities properly, optimize resources, and guarantee delivery success.
- Work closely with project and program managers to embed change management practices into transformation projects and secure adoption goals.
- Develop frameworks for change measurement, benefits realization, adoption metrics, and create performance dashboards.
- Facilitate executive workshops, align stakeholders, conduct readiness reviews, deliver leadership briefings, and manage transformation governance meetings.
- Track key performance indicators such as adoption rates, portfolio delivery effectiveness, business readiness, stakeholder involvement, benefits achieved, transformation timelines, initiative success, and growth of organizational capabilities.
- Conduct portfolio reviews, assess change maturity, evaluate risks, perform benchmarking, lead lessons-learned analyses, and drive continuous improvement efforts.
- Ensure adherence to governance standards, change management frameworks, risk protocols, data protection regulations, and transformation controls.
- Manage budgets related to change portfolios, consulting partners, change platforms, communication tools, transformation resources, and strategic initiatives.
- Promote digital transformation utilizing AI-driven change analytics, predictive adoption modeling, automated stakeholder insight tools, intelligent workflow management, transformation dashboards, and business intelligence solutions.
- Leverage technologies including Prosci ADKAR, Microsoft Project, Jira, ServiceNow, Monday.com, Asana, Smartsheet, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power BI, Tableau, SAP, Oracle, Workday, PMO tools, and change management software to optimize portfolio delivery and extract actionable insights.
- Prepare executive-level reports, transformation portfolio summaries, impact analyses, adoption assessments, risk overviews, benefits reports, and strategic advice for senior leaders.
- Lead and mentor change managers, transformation experts, project teams, and stakeholders while nurturing a culture centered on adaptability, collaboration, innovation, accountability, and ongoing development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Change Management, Project Management, Information Systems, Human Resources, Strategy, or a related discipline.
- Advanced degrees such as MBA or Master’s in Organizational Change, Transformation Management, or Strategic Management are highly preferred.
- Professional certifications like Prosci Change Management, Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Managing Successful Programmes (MSP), SAFe or Agile certifications are advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in change, transformation, portfolio, or program management with at least 2 years leading enterprise portfolios or large-scale change projects.
- Deep knowledge of change management methodologies, portfolio governance, transformation frameworks, stakeholder engagement, organizational readiness, benefits realization, risk mitigation, and strategic implementation.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Prosci ADKAR, Microsoft Project, Jira, ServiceNow, Monday.com, Asana, Smartsheet, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Power BI, Tableau, SAP, Oracle, Workday, and PMO platforms.
- Familiarity with AI-based change analytics, digital adoption platforms, predictive workforce insights, automated communications, and advanced portfolio analytics is a strong plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, facilitation, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, budgeting, analytical thinking, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously while managing business priorities, readiness, resources, risks, budgets, timelines, and strategic goals.
- Experience working effectively in remote, distributed teams spanning executives, project leaders, technology partners, consultants, and global stakeholders, including occasional travel for workshops and strategic meetings.
