Job description

Role overview

We are seeking a Change Management Specialist in Canada to support a major digital transformation initiative in healthcare. In this role, you will help teams adopt new information management and technology solutions, working across senior leaders, clinical staff, and technical teams to make the transition smooth and effective.

You will build and run change strategies that lower resistance, improve engagement, and increase adoption of new systems and workflows. The position places a strong emphasis on communication, training, and readiness planning within a complex, multi-organization healthcare setting. This is a high-impact opportunity where your work will directly support the rollout of mission-critical healthcare technology.

Core responsibilities

  • Lead change management workstreams end to end for a large healthcare transformation program, supporting the rollout of new systems, processes, and clinical workflows.
  • Plan stakeholder engagement activities and carry out readiness reviews to understand adoption risks and support preparation.
  • Assess how changes will affect different teams, identify potential issues, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Create and implement communication plans tailored to varied stakeholder groups.
  • Develop training content, learning paths, and adoption materials for new systems and ways of working.
  • Advise and coach senior leaders on how to communicate change and encourage adoption.
  • Support standardized clinical transformation efforts across several healthcare organizations.
  • Help drive user adoption and the effective use of Altera Sunrise solutions in clinical environments.

Requirements

  • A valid Prosci ADKAR Change Management Certification is required.
  • At least 10 years of experience in organizational change management for IT implementations.
  • Strong experience with stakeholder analysis, readiness assessment, risk review, and change planning.
  • Background in healthcare-related change initiatives is strongly needed.
  • At least 5 years of experience creating communication strategies and advising senior leadership.
  • At least 5 years of experience building and delivering training programs and adoption frameworks.
  • Experience in large organizations with 1,000+ employees or in complex multi-entity environments.
  • Experience supporting standardized clinical implementations across multiple healthcare organizations.
  • Hands-on exposure to Altera Sunrise suite implementations in clinical settings is preferred, with 2+ years ideal.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and adoption strategy.
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and influencing abilities.
  • Must be able to work remotely from within Canada for the full contract period.

Benefits and additional information

Compensation for the contract is competitive and will be based on experience. The position is fully remote within Canada. You will have the chance to contribute to a large national healthcare transformation effort and play a meaningful role in improving clinical systems and patient care.

This role also offers close collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional healthcare teams, exposure to complex digital transformation programs spanning multiple organizations, and the opportunity to work with widely used clinical technology solutions in a highly regulated, mission-critical environment.

Application and hiring process

This opportunity is posted on behalf of a partner organization that handles the application review and next steps. A matching process is used to identify candidates aligned with the role's key requirements, and the resulting shortlist is shared with the hiring company. Interviews, assessments, and final hiring decisions are managed internally by the employer.
