Job description
About Fonterra
Fonterra Te Mātāpuna is a global dairy co-operative owned by New Zealand farmers and supported by a committed workforce. The organisation is focused on creating positive change, delivering strong outcomes, and building a better future together.
Opportunity
Fonterra is hiring fixed-term Change Manager and Senior Change Manager professionals to help shape and deliver change initiatives across a major ERP programme. The role focuses on enabling people to understand, adopt, and work effectively through transformation, while making sure change activities are practical, well planned, and aligned to the desired business outcomes.
You will work alongside delivery teams, sponsors, and leaders to support enterprise change standards, adjust approaches for different user groups, and ensure transformation is embedded for long-term success.
What you'll do
- Plan and deliver change activity that supports adoption and helps people transition successfully through business change.
- Partner with programme sponsors, leaders, and delivery teams to make change efforts practical and outcome focused.
- Contribute to a major ERP transformation programme and support implementation across impacted business areas.
- Apply enterprise change frameworks and adapt them to suit the needs of different end users.
- Drive high-quality change outcomes that create lasting impact and support effective embedding of initiatives.
About you
You bring a structured, hands-on approach to change, using recognised change management methods to deliver measurable results. You are comfortable building confidence with stakeholders, influencing behavioural and ways-of-working shifts, and handling several change initiatives at once in fast-moving environments.
You work well with cross-functional groups, know when to take the lead or provide support, and communicate effectively across different audiences. You also value continuous improvement, using feedback to strengthen your own practice and help others do the same.
Experience preferred
Experience on complex ERP programmes is strongly preferred, and SAP S/4HANA experience is highly regarded. Backgrounds in supply chain, manufacturing, sales, or finance environments are especially relevant, particularly where you have successfully delivered change in complex settings.
Our values and culture
Fonterra’s values of Good Together, Better Every Day, and Every Drop Counts guide how the co-operative works with farmers, customers, communities, and one another. The organisation welcomes people from all backgrounds and encourages applicants to bring their whole selves to work.
Benefits and support
- Fair and equitable pay.
- Health and wellbeing support, including medical and mental health assistance.
- Opportunities for professional development.
- Support for career growth.
- Flexibility and work-life balance options, including hybrid working where possible.
- Employee recognition initiatives.
- Support for community involvement and cultural connection.
Inclusion
Fonterra welcomes applications from people of all ethnicities, genders, identities, orientations, ages, abilities, neurotypes, cultures, and religions. Candidates do not need to meet every requirement to apply, as potential and growth are valued. Accessibility support can be arranged through the recruiter if needed.
