Cell Biology Scientist

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Biologist specializing in molecular and cellular biology to contribute to AI model development through the creation and validation of scientifically rigorous content. This contract role is fully remote and ideal for those with strong laboratory expertise in CRISPR and molecular biology. Previous experience with AI is not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out gene editing experiments using CRISPR technology.
• Conduct laboratory techniques including cloning, PCR, genotyping, and DNA sequencing.
• Design and develop DNA and RNA constructs to support molecular screening procedures.
• Interpret and analyze complex molecular and cellular biology data and concepts.
• Maintain detailed documentation of experimental protocols ensuring scientific integrity.
• Engage collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to advance biology-focused initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, or related disciplines.
• Hands-on proficiency with CRISPR, cloning methods, PCR, and genotyping assays.
• Comprehensive knowledge of molecular biology principles and genetic mechanisms.
• Strong analytical abilities along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and capability to work autonomously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in relevant scientific fields.
• Experience reviewing scientific content, annotating data, or participating in AI-centered research projects.
• Comfortable working within remote or cross-functional teams.
