About the Role
Join a dynamic hospitality team serving KPMG and Dentons Kensington Swan at their Auckland offices. As the Catering Coordinator and Barista, you'll be the welcoming face facilitating premium coffee experiences and supporting catering for meetings and events. This full-time position operates Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with some flexibility for overtime during catering functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all facets of coffee service daily between 8:00 AM and 12:30 PM, delivering client orders to meeting rooms.
- Continuously clear meeting rooms' used dishes and cups throughout the day.
- Handle ordering and inventory management for café supplies including coffee, beverages, and equipment.
- Establish and maintain strong communication with external vendors.
- Support catering setups for various events such as breakfasts, lunches, teas, and evening functions.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the café and kitchen areas consistently.
- Perform additional duties aligned with the role's nature as required.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Barista is required.
- Flexible with working hours to accommodate early starts and late finishes as needed.
- Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Passion for food quality and hygiene practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effective time management capabilities.
- Professional appearance and a positive sense of humor.
- Basic computer proficiency.
