Role Overview

As a Software Developer at KPMG, you will be instrumental in crafting scalable digital solutions that ensure seamless and high-quality user interactions. You will engage deeply in feature development, transforming concepts into clean and dependable code, continually optimizing application performance and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, develop, and implement front-end and back-end functionalities adhering to product and architectural objectives.
  • Produce modular, well-documented, and clean code with sufficient test coverage, employing secure coding standards and participating in code reviews to maintain quality and security.
  • Identify and address performance issues throughout the technology stack to guarantee reliable and responsive applications.
  • Offer technical guidance and collaborate with fellow developers through pairing, feedback sessions, and documentation.
  • Partner closely with cross-disciplinary teams, including product, design, platform, and QA, to deliver outstanding digital experiences.
  • Effectively communicate technical ideas to stakeholders and actively contribute to planning.

Candidate Profile

  • At least three years of experience in software development with proficient full-stack skills and substantial expertise in Azure development.
  • Comfortable working across front-end, back-end, APIs, integrations, databases, authentication, and cloud services.
  • Familiarity with modern web development techniques and secure programming practices.
  • A proactive approach towards involvement from early discovery stages through solution formation, not limited to coding predefined requirements.
  • Ability to adapt pragmatically in dynamic delivery settings with shifting priorities and evolving designs.
  • Strong communication skills facilitating collaboration across product, business, testing, and technical groups.
  • Experience within professional services, financial services, or similarly complex sectors is advantageous.
