Role Overview

We are searching for a dependable and motivated Catering Assistant to join our team at Beacon Court. This position offers a great chance to work in a nurturing, child-centered setting alongside an experienced chef.

Job Type: Permanent Contract

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 3:30 PM

Role Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh fruit and snacks suitable for children
• Assist in serving and plating meals
• Maintain excellent kitchen hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Support the chef with daily kitchen operations
• Deliver meals to the Beacon Southquarter location
• Safeguard food allergy management and maintain strict awareness

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Must possess a valid and clean full driving licence
• Comfortable and confident operating a van (vehicle provided)
• Strong focus on hygiene and adherence to food safety protocols
• Good understanding of allergy concerns and safe food handling
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a busy kitchen team environment
• Demonstrated reliability, organisation, and initiative
