About the Role
Nestlé Canada is seeking a Category and Shopper Development (CSD) Leader based at their North York, Ontario office. Reporting to the Vice President, Category & Shopper Development, this newly created role focuses on formulating and driving category, channel, and shopper strategies to achieve sustainable profitable growth and increase market share within the waters category.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of channel, customer, OMNI, and HORECA strategies to boost commercial performance, market share, and profitability.
- Drive Strategic Revenue Management through pricing, portfolio optimization, and mix management to maximize revenue, profits, and long-term value.
- Oversee integrated commercial planning by collaborating closely with Sales and Marketing to implement category, customer, and channel growth initiatives.
- Create and manage shopper marketing campaigns, category roadmaps, and sales playbooks that heighten shopper interaction and enhance relationships with customers.
- Develop and mentor high-performing teams, promoting employee growth and ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- University degree preferably in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in commercial functions including Category & Shopper Development, Customer Development, Revenue Growth Management, and Key Account Management with large customers.
- Proven track record of meeting key business KPIs impacting both top-line and bottom-line results.
- Comprehensive knowledge of sales operations, revenue management, finance, marketing, and supply chain processes.
- Experience navigating evolving business landscapes, leading through ambiguity, organizational changes, or transformations.
- Ability to spot opportunities, challenge norms, and innovate beyond existing procedures.
- Acute external market awareness to identify emerging industry, customer, shopper, and channel trends that create competitive advantages.
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated success in team building, coaching, and cultivating engagement and accountability.

Compensation and Equal Opportunity
