Casual Food and Beverage Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals who excel in lively bar environments. If you can quickly adapt, are familiar with popular spirits like Sipsmiths and Tanqueray, and bring a friendly, courteous demeanor, we want to hear from you. We have several flexible contracts available and require team members able to cover various shifts as our guests visit seven days a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient service of food and beverages in different settings including the restaurant, bar, breakfast and evening dining areas, as well as meetings and events such as weddings and functions.
• Provide clear and confident communication regarding all food and beverage options to customers.
• Handle payment processes accurately, including cash, card, and room charges, following company policies.
• Offer a warm and welcoming experience at every guest interaction and promptly address any questions or needs.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience serving beverages in a busy hospitality environment is desired.
• Demonstrate attentive and professional customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and collaborate within a large team.
• Experience with payment processing systems preferred; familiarity with Micros is advantageous.
• Availability for morning and/or evening shifts to support breakfast and dinner service continuity.

About the Venue

Located in the heart of the Black Country, our hotel offers 138 contemporary rooms including Standard, Club, and Suites with exclusive perks for Club and Suite guests. Faraday's Restaurant provides a relaxed dining experience with scenic views of the Canal Marina. We are equipped with 11 adaptable function rooms hosting up to 600 guests, complete with audiovisual equipment and Wi-Fi.
