Role Overview
The full-time role of Casino Inspector is based on-site in Panaji. The main responsibility is to oversee gaming activities, ensuring all operations comply with internal casino policies and external regulatory standards. Daily duties include monitoring gaming tables and electronic games, confirming strict adherence to operational rules and procedures, and verifying the accuracy and security of equipment, chips, and cash handling processes. The Casino Inspector is required to document any incidents or anomalies, produce detailed reports, and work collaboratively with surveillance, security, and operations teams to uphold fair gaming and a secure environment for both guests and staff members.
Additional responsibilities include aiding in audits, supporting investigations as needed, and offering recommendations for process improvements to enhance risk management and regulatory adherence.
Candidate Profile
- Possess strong skills in observation, analysis, and problem-solving to spot discrepancies and potential risks within gaming operations.
- Communicate effectively in both written and spoken formats to clearly document incidents and collaborate with various departments.
- Exhibit a high ethical standard, integrity, and dedication to maintaining fair play and compliance with gaming laws.
- Adapt to an on-site presence in Panaji, working in shifts that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Have a foundational understanding of casino games, their rules, and procedures, or be willing to engage in formal training to acquire such knowledge.
- Be detail-oriented and comfortable handling numerical data, records, and transaction information.
- Experience in compliance, auditing, security, or operations within gaming is advantageous.
- Hold a relevant diploma or degree in hospitality, business, law, or related fields, or possess equivalent experience.
