Overview

Key Duties

• Warmly greet customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Efficiently handle all purchase transactions, including proper deactivation of merchandise in line with the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) program.
• Promote company-sponsored initiatives such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable programs.
• Assist customers with bagging and loading their purchases.
• Adhere to safe work protocols including proper lifting techniques and maintaining a tidy workspace.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the cash register through careful cash management, compliance with company policies, and vigilance.
• Refer relevant service or transaction inquiries to the Customer Service Manager when necessary.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this role is $16.50.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
