Cashier - Full Time Hourly Position with Flexible Shifts

About the Role

Join a community-focused, locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store to contribute by providing health, beauty, and convenience services to customers. You will be a key player in maintaining high standards of customer care and operational excellence within the store's checkout area.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly and engaging positively.
• Maintain an orderly and tidy checkout area at all times.
• Scan or input product information accurately and handle transactions including cash, coupons, lottery, and PC Optimum points with precision.
• Request customers’ PC Optimum Card with each purchase.
• Manage merchandising tasks such as restocking, facing products, and proper labeling in assigned areas.
• Ensure all required documentation for customer receipts and returns is completed thoroughly.
• Adhere strictly to loss prevention standards, including management of cash, lottery tickets, and stamp inventories.
• Present a professional and polished appearance consistent with uniform and dress code policies.
• Comply fully with health and safety rules and all store policies and procedures.
• Maintain store cleanliness and uphold image standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $18.25 to $20.30 per hour, which may vary based on candidate experience and location. This is a current vacancy and artificial intelligence tools are utilized in the applicant screening and selection process.
