About the Role
Join a community-focused, locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store to contribute by providing health, beauty, and convenience services to customers. You will be a key player in maintaining high standards of customer care and operational excellence within the store's checkout area.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly and engaging positively.
- Maintain an orderly and tidy checkout area at all times.
- Scan or input product information accurately and handle transactions including cash, coupons, lottery, and PC Optimum points with precision.
- Request customers’ PC Optimum Card with each purchase.
- Manage merchandising tasks such as restocking, facing products, and proper labeling in assigned areas.
- Ensure all required documentation for customer receipts and returns is completed thoroughly.
- Adhere strictly to loss prevention standards, including management of cash, lottery tickets, and stamp inventories.
- Present a professional and polished appearance consistent with uniform and dress code policies.
- Comply fully with health and safety rules and all store policies and procedures.
- Maintain store cleanliness and uphold image standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Compensation
The pay range for this position is $18.25 to $20.30 per hour, which may vary based on candidate experience and location. This is a current vacancy and artificial intelligence tools are utilized in the applicant screening and selection process.
