Job description

Overview

This role is being promoted on behalf of a partner employer, which will handle applications and the remainder of the hiring process. The hiring company is seeking a Cash Management and Accounts Payable Manager in the United States.

This is a senior accounting leadership position with responsibility for the full cash management and accounts payable function in a fast-moving, technology-oriented setting. The role blends strategic planning with day-to-day ownership of payment operations, vendor processes, and system administration.

You will support accurate cash forecasting, liquidity planning, and reliable payment execution across the organization. You will also work closely with Finance, FP&A, and Vendor Operations to strengthen controls and improve procure-to-pay efficiency.

A major part of the job is acting as the lead administrator for Coupa, making sure the platform is correctly configured and running smoothly.

This opportunity suits someone who enjoys detail-heavy work, process improvement, and contributing to broader financial strategy.

Key accountabilities

  • Manage cash activities end to end, including short- and long-range forecasting, liquidity planning, and ongoing cash flow tracking so financial commitments are met on time.
  • Maintain banking relationships, support required compliance reporting, and ensure cash transactions are recorded accurately in partnership with finance stakeholders.
  • Run the complete accounts payable cycle, covering invoice handling, vendor setup and onboarding, payment processing, and oversight of expense reporting.
  • Direct and improve procure-to-pay operations by keeping systems efficient, controls strong, and policies and regulatory requirements followed.
  • Own Coupa administration, including workflow management, permissions, setup/configuration, integrations, upgrades, and user assistance.
  • Handle AP reconciliations, accruals, month-end close support, and reporting activities such as variance analysis and audit preparation.
  • Coach, supervise, and develop AP team members while supporting performance management, training, and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of progressive experience across accounts payable and cash management, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or managerial position.
  • Proven background in cash forecasting, banking operations, and corporate payment processing.
  • Practical experience administering Coupa, including configuration, optimization, and ongoing system support.
  • Experience working with ERP platforms such as NetSuite, along with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, compliance expectations, and financial reporting workflows.
  • Strong analytical ability, close attention to detail, and the capability to investigate and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with cross-functional experience in finance-focused environments.

Benefits

  • Pay aligned with experience and market benchmarks.
  • Fully remote setup within the United States.
  • Medical, dental, and dependent care coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan.
  • Flexible vacation policy plus an additional annual travel allowance.
  • Three-day weekends each month to help support work-life balance.
  • Access to coaching, therapy, and professional development support.
  • Flexible Spending Accounts for qualifying healthcare and dependent expenses.
