Role overview
Join a cash management and ATM services business that helps keep cash flowing for communities, retailers, financial institutions, and corporate clients across the UK. This position sits within a growing operation covering depots in Glasgow, Manchester, and Thurrock, and focuses on secure collection, delivery, and ATM servicing work.
What you’ll do
- Move cash, coin, and other valuables safely between customer locations.
- Replenish ATMs and cash machines so they remain available for public use.
- Carry out basic maintenance checks at customer sites, leaving machines clean, tidy, professional, and operational.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any faults or concerns without delay.
- Work in line with strict security procedures to protect yourself, your colleagues, and client assets.
- Coordinate with dispatch teams and customers so schedules stay on track.
- Keep precise records of each transaction, including cash amounts and location details.
- Respond professionally to unexpected issues and help reduce disruption to service timings.
What the employer is looking for
- A full, clean driving licence.
- At least 2 years of commercial driving experience, ideally in a 3.5 tonne van or a similar vehicle.
- Background in security, field service, logistics, transport, or a related area.
- SIA licence is beneficial, although not required because training is provided.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work alone.
- Good physical fitness and confidence handling valuables securely.
- Flexibility to begin as early as 04:30, work weekends, and cover occasional holiday shifts.
- No current County Court Judgements, Individual Voluntary Arrangements/Trust Deeds, or live bankruptcy declarations.
Working pattern and training
This is a permanent role with a fixed 4-on, 4-off rolling shift pattern, designed to support work-life balance. Full training is provided, including preparation to world-class standard for the SIA CViT licence.
