Role Overview
Located in our Tweed Heads office, the Case Manager plays a vital role in positively impacting injured workers' lives every day. This position serves as the primary liaison between the injured worker, their employer, and all treatment stakeholders, orchestrating efforts to facilitate a safe and timely return to employment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage a comprehensive portfolio of workers compensation claims focusing on both physical and psychological injuries.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with injured workers, employers, medical professionals, and rehabilitation providers to support return-to-work efforts.
- Implement proactive and timely strategies aimed at expediting recovery and enhancing return-to-work outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with Injury Management Specialists to develop and execute personalized return-to-work plans.
Candidate Profile
- Recent graduates with degrees in psychology or related health sciences are highly desirable.
- Previous experience or background in Allied Health, customer service, retail, or hospitality with a strong commitment to helping others.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and work effectively within teams.
- Strong customer focus and capability to engage in challenging conversations with empathy and resilience.
- Proactive, self-driven, and capable of creative stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated skills in managing, negotiating, and influencing positive outcomes.
Work Conditions and Flexibility
This is a permanent full-time role based at our Tweed Heads office. After three months and contingent on performance, employees may be eligible to work from home up to three days per week.
