About The Role
Embark on a vibrant career with Swissport as a Cargo Warehouse Agent at Dublin Airport. This full-time position invites you to be a key part of the aviation logistics team, working from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, five days per week. The role offers an hourly wage of €16.99.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and organize storage and warehouse facilities efficiently.
- Manage warehouse equipment and execute loading and unloading of air cargo.
- Adhere strictly to safety and quality standards throughout operations.
- Follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and policies precisely.
- Load and offload air cargo to vehicles and storage areas carefully.
- Prepare and palletize cargo as required, ensuring correct documentation is maintained.
- Guarantee proper cargo handling and coordination of equipment operation.
- Abide by Dangerous Goods Regulations and handle sensitive cargo responsibly.
- Deliver air cargo to designated recipients when necessary.
- Provide special care in handling live animals during transportation.
- Operate specialized vehicles and equipment such as vans, forklifts, and cargo trailers safely.
- Report any equipment issues promptly to supervisors or managers.
- Uphold airport authority and carrier security guidelines consistently.
- Maintain safety and security best practices at all times.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Personal Attributes
- Willingness and flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Proficient English communication skills.
- Reliable transportation options for times when public transit is unavailable.
- Adept at following processes and adapting flexibly when needed.
- Prepared to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Physically capable of manual labor, including repeatedly lifting up to 32kg during shifts.
- Team-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Possession of a full driving license.
- Previous experience in an aviation setting is advantageous.
