Role Overview
The City is currently seeking four dedicated caretakers to maintain all municipal halls and publicly accessible facilities to the highest quality. This position requires a commitment to confidentiality and ensuring that venues are well cared for and operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and perform basic maintenance of City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder's halls and public venues.
- Ensure facilities are kept to a high standard consistently.
- Upkeep of secure and confidential handling of facility-related matters.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in cleaning and basic maintenance duties.
- Strong communication abilities, negotiation skills, conflict resolution, and confidence in interacting with both internal staff and external customers.
- Effective administrative, planning, and organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines meticulously.
- Ability to work independently with initiative, show forward-thinking, problem-solving skills, and be a cooperative team member.
