Position Overview
The Resident Care Associate (CNA in-training) role involves supporting general non-certified care duties as outlined by supervisors and participating in training toward becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.). This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in long-term care with opportunities for career advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with housekeeping tasks such as removing trash and changing unoccupied beds.
- Support meal service by transporting residents to dining areas, delivering trays, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Provide excellent customer service, companionship, and communication by responding promptly to call lights, regularly checking on residents, and encouraging participation in activities.
- Assist with personal care duties following state regulations.
- Engage fully in the C.N.A. training program until certification is achieved.
Qualifications
- Preferred educational attainment: High School Diploma or GED/HSE.
- Relevant experience preferred: 0 to 1 year.
Location
The position is based in Boonville, Indiana at Woodmont Health Campus, 1325 Rockport Road.
