Position Overview
We are seeking a Caregiver to join us on a casual basis at Palmerston Manor Lifecare. This role involves providing exceptional care as needed, covering AM, PM, night, and weekend shifts. The successful candidate will be compassionate, personable, and dedicated to enhancing residents' lives through patience and kindness.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality caregiving to residents in a warm and supportive environment.
- Maintain residents' well-being and comfort adhering to care standards.
- Collaborate effectively with the care team to ensure comprehensive support.
Required Skills and Experience
- Prior experience in caregiving, preferably within aged care settings.
- Minimum qualification of NZQA Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or an equivalent credential such as a Bachelor or Diploma in Nursing from New Zealand or overseas.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated genuine compassion and excellent customer service attitude.
- Commitment to ongoing improvement and solid awareness of health and safety protocols.
