About the Role
A growing security services provider is looking for motivated and dependable career changers to join the team as ticket inspectors in the Georgsmarienhütte area. The role is based on-site and focuses on maintaining order, supporting passengers, and contributing to a safe travel experience.
The company serves clients with professional protection and security services at a high standard, with a strong emphasis on reliability, quality, and a secure environment for everyone involved. The position is offered as a permanent role with 40 hours per week. The earliest possible start is immediate.
Hourly pay ranges from EUR 16.00 to EUR 25.00, and the role includes statutory and collective agreement-related allowances where applicable.
Responsibilities
- Check travellers’ tickets carefully and help ensure smooth operations on board.
- Explain fare rules and ticket conditions to passengers in a polite and understandable way, and respond to questions about tickets and prices.
- Record passenger counts and ticket checks accurately to support service quality.
- Handle unexpected situations quickly and professionally to promote safety and order on the train.
- Work closely with train staff to create a calm and pleasant journey for passengers.

- Strong communication skills for clear interaction with passengers and colleagues.
- Good interpersonal awareness and empathy to respond to passenger needs and maintain a positive atmosphere.
- Ability to work well in a team in a fast-moving environment.
- Confidence and assertiveness to act firmly in challenging situations and enforce rules when needed.
Training and Entry
No §34a certificate is required to start. Applicants without this qualification are still welcome, and the employer will support further training according to §34a GewO and guide new starters into the security sector.
Career changers from many different backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Previous experience in security is not mandatory, and people with experience in roles such as warehouse work, driving, hospitality, or similar fields are also considered.
