Position and Location
We are currently seeking a career changer for the role of Train Dispatcher at the station in Stuttgart for DB InfraGO AG, offering a permanent position starting as soon as possible.
Training Program
- Over approximately two months in full-time attendance, you will gradually acquire the necessary skills for the role in local supervision of train dispatching.
- The program alternates theoretical instruction and hands-on practice, allowing you to learn and apply skills immediately.
- You will be supported throughout by experienced colleagues to ensure a smooth transition and enable you to responsibly manage train operations at the station.
- From the start, you will receive a guaranteed fixed salary.
Key Responsibilities After Training
- Ensure and monitor the timely departure of trains to contribute actively to quality and punctuality targets.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues on platforms, trains, and at the control center to devise solutions for seamless railway operations.
- Co-responsible for safety on the platform areas.
- Provide passengers on the platform with essential information and assist with boarding and alighting.
- Report and coordinate the management of disruptions and irregularities with responsibility.
- Participate in emergency management procedures within the station.
Applicant Profile
- You hold a successfully completed vocational training, for instance as a restaurant specialist, hotel clerk, security personnel, or service marketing professional.
- Preferably, you have initial experience in customer contact, customer service, or security-related fields.
- Your strong service orientation, teamwork skills, and ability to work independently distinguish you.
- You are confident communicating in German at C1 language proficiency.
- Shift work including early, late, and night shifts as well as weekends and public holidays is acceptable to you.
- You agree to undergo the required medical and psychological assessments as part of the selection process conducted by company medical services.
