Overview
We welcome career changers, including those returning from parental leave, who wish to develop new skills in vital professions requiring specialized knowledge. During your retraining period, you'll receive a competitive salary and, upon completion, independently manage your responsibilities as a full team member. Retraining Program
- The comprehensive retraining lasts approximately one year, combining theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
- Lessons alternate between classroom instruction and hands-on training, ensuring you fully understand and apply your learning.
- Experienced colleagues will mentor you, making the transition into a new field smooth and supportive.
- Theoretical sessions are held close to your residence, while practical assignments mainly take place within your future work area.
- From day one, you will earn a stable income.
Post-Retraining Role
- As part of a team, you ensure safety at rail construction sites by preventing accidents and hazards.
- You warn personnel in track zones of approaching trains using various signals and modern warning systems.
- You enforce safety protocols and orient new safety staff to workplace standards.
- You maintain communication with multiple stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
- You take personal responsibility for organizing and monitoring safety measures at construction locations.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum age of 18 years, with a secondary school leaving certificate (Hauptschulabschluss).
- No prior experience required; reliability and commitment to safety are essential.
- Enjoy working outdoors regardless of weather conditions.
- Proficient in spoken and written German.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and various locations.
- Possession of a valid Class B driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
Applications from already trained construction site safety professionals, safety posts or supervisors are also welcome.
