Retraining Program

• The comprehensive retraining lasts approximately one year, combining theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
• Lessons alternate between classroom instruction and hands-on training, ensuring you fully understand and apply your learning.
• Experienced colleagues will mentor you, making the transition into a new field smooth and supportive.
• Theoretical sessions are held close to your residence, while practical assignments mainly take place within your future work area.
• From day one, you will earn a stable income.

Post-Retraining Role

• As part of a team, you ensure safety at rail construction sites by preventing accidents and hazards.
• You warn personnel in track zones of approaching trains using various signals and modern warning systems.
• You enforce safety protocols and orient new safety staff to workplace standards.
• You maintain communication with multiple stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
• You take personal responsibility for organizing and monitoring safety measures at construction locations.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum age of 18 years, with a secondary school leaving certificate (Hauptschulabschluss).
• No prior experience required; reliability and commitment to safety are essential.
• Enjoy working outdoors regardless of weather conditions.
• Proficient in spoken and written German.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and various locations.
• Possession of a valid Class B driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
