Role overview
This is a full-time, on-site post in the Cardiology Department at Galway University Hospitals in Galway, County Galway, Ireland. The position is a specified-purpose wholetime contract within the HSE West and North West region.
About the service
The Department of Cardiac Investigations at Galway University Hospital is an important part of the Primary PCI pathway for HSE West and North West. The role contributes to a service that supports acute cardiac care across Donegal, Sligo, Leitrim, Roscommon, Mayo, and Galway.
Key duties
The successful candidate will take part in the cardiac catheterisation laboratory on-call rota. Participation in the STEMI programme on-call rota may also be required.
Eligibility and registration
Applications are open to both HSE and non-HSE candidates. The post is open to all applicants and the appointee must be registered with the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Physiology (IICMP).
