About the Role
This opening is for a permanent part-time Facilitator to work with Autism A Chara Disability Services based in Arklow, County Wicklow, Ireland. The position involves delivering person-centred support to individuals with autism and complex needs. While this opportunity is advertised on behalf of a publicly funded organisation, the contract is not directly with the Health Service Executive (HSE), and terms may differ from HSE’s own conditions.
Working Hours and Location
You will be required to work 35 hours per week onsite in Arklow, Wicklow.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A full QQI Level 5 qualification in Health Care or a related community or care sector is mandatory.
- A strong enthusiasm for providing person-centred support is essential to succeed as a Support Worker.
- Competence in working independently and with initiative is required.
- Familiarity with the Key Worker/Support Worker role and its philosophy is expected, especially in supporting individuals with complex needs.
- Skills in Programme Planning and developing Person Centred Plans are important.
- Fluent proficiency in English and excellent communication skills are needed.
- Possession of a full, clean driver’s license is desirable, with a requirement to operate service vehicles as part of the role.
