Cardiac Physiologist

About the Role

An expanding Heart & Vascular service located in Cork is recruiting Cardiac Physiologists at both Basic and Senior Grade levels. This opportunity allows you to join a busy, multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive cardiac investigations and supporting patients through a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform tests and procedures such as ECGs, stress testing, ambulatory monitoring, device follow-up clinics, echocardiography, angiography, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), electrophysiology studies, ablation, and manage pacemaker and ICD services.
• Collaborate within a specialist team offering strong clinical support in a fast-evolving cardiac setting.
• Engage in either full-time or part-time working arrangements to best fit your preferences.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a recognized qualification in Cardiac Physiology such as Clinical Measurement Science or an equivalent credential.
• Be eligible through an appropriate professional pathway, including qualifications approved by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Science (IICMS).
• Demonstrate excellent communication, information technology proficiency, and organisational capabilities.
• Exhibit a patient-centered mindset and the ability to efficiently work within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Hold full statutory eligibility to work in Ireland.
