Exercise Physiologist

Role Overview

We are seeking a certified Exercise/Sports Physiologist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will oversee the operation of our diagnostic suite, utilize advanced testing equipment, and tailor patient health improvement plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cardiopulmonary and metabolic evaluations such as VO2 Max and Resting Metabolic Rate using KORR Cardio Coach PRO alongside treadmills and ergometers.
• Identify Ventilatory Thresholds (VT1 and VT2) and determine FatMax zones precisely.
• Analyze body composition via GE Lunar DXA scanning, with focus on lean mass balance, visceral adipose tissue, and bone mineral density.
• Conduct biomechanical assessments including 3D skeletal tracking, range of motion evaluation through Kinotek LiDAR technology, and peak isometric strength measurement using Activforce 2 digital dynamometers.
• Develop evidence-based exercise prescriptions tailored to patient needs and oversee calibration and upkeep of diagnostic devices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology, Sports Physiology, or Human Movement Science.
• Valid clinical certification such as ACSM-RCEP, ACSM-CEP, ESSA-AEP, or similar credential.
• Proficient knowledge in Indirect Calorimetry, Graded Exercise Testing (GXT), and Respiratory Exchange Ratio (RER) analysis.
• Note: Basic personal training certifications like NASM, ACE, or ISSA are not sufficient for this position.
