Position Overview

As a Captain at Brasserie La Farine within JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest service. Your responsibilities include coordinating communication between chefs and stewards during functions, managing billing and payment processes for group events, ensuring banquet rooms and dining areas are prepared perfectly with proper centerpieces and cleanliness, and addressing guest satisfaction by checking in with clients and accommodating special dietary requests and allergies. Additionally, maintaining cleanliness of work areas and upholding presentation standards for china, glassware, and silverware are essential duties.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate guest service requirements with kitchen and stewarding teams during events.
• Handle total billing and payment procedures for group functions accurately.
• Prepare and organize banquet rooms, restaurants, and coffee breaks for service readiness.
• Ensure tables are properly set according to event type and service standards with appropriate centerpieces.
• Inspect cleanliness and presentation of tableware prior to use.

• Maintain orderly and clean work environments throughout shifts.
