  • Exclusive employee benefits and discounts at local businesses.
  • Subsidized gym memberships.
  • Access to an employee social club.
  • Opportunities for career advancement and professional development.
  • Secure employment with a world-renowned organization specializing in 3 waters networks.
  • Engage in meaningful work that benefits the community and supports societal functions.
  • Comprehensive Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through Assure, offering support for mental health, nutrition, finances, legal matters, coaching, and career transitions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the capital works team on-site to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Manage all phases of capital works projects, from initial setup to final completion.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement necessary safety protocols to achieve a zero-harm workplace.
  • Liaise with the Team Lead, external contractors, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution and maintain effective communication throughout all project stages.
  • Uphold the highest standards of quality in all executed work.
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date project documentation on-site.

Requirements

  • A relevant qualification in drain laying or a related construction field is advantageous, though training will be provided to suitable candidates.
  • Possess practical, hands-on experience in a relevant trade.
  • Previous experience in the water and/or wastewater industry, with a basic understanding of water treatment technologies and processes, is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and contractors, and to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Capability to diagnose and resolve issues with damaged 3 waters infrastructure.
  • Experience in civil works and operating various machinery, including excavators.
  • Hold Class 2 and 4 truck licenses.
  • Proven skills in problem-solving and developing effective methodologies.
  • Demonstrate strong motivation, enthusiasm, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
