About the Role
This full-time Analyst opportunity within Citi's Banking Investment Banking team in North America focuses on Capital Markets Origination. The role involves working with corporate and government clients to create, structure, and implement tailored financing solutions, combining traditional investment banking with dynamic market-focused activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with fixed income and equity clients.
- Analyze clients' capital structure and devise strategic financing plans including IPOs, LBOs, refinancing, and other transactions.
- Originate, market, structure, and execute various fixed income and equity investment products, integrating diverse solutions for client needs.
- Understand and monitor trends within the banking and investor landscape.
- Engage with corporate clients to manage dialogues and foster strong interactions.
- Utilize derivatives to manage interest rate and credit risk effectively.
Program Details
Participants will undergo an intensive two-year Analyst Program starting every July, beginning with six weeks of comprehensive training. Afterward, Analysts join a Capital Markets Origination team for practical experience. Opportunities exist for a third-year extension including intra-company rotations and eligibility for promotion to Associate.

- Must be graduating with a Bachelor's degree between December 2026 and June 2027 with a minimum GPA of 3.3.

Compensation and Benefits
The role offers an annual salary range of $80,000 to $115,000, typically around $110,000. Eligible employees may receive discretionary and formula-based incentives.
