Role overview

This is a full-time, on-site sales role based in the contact centre in Churchfield, Cork. The position sits within the Affiliate Sales team at eir Ireland.

As a Call Centre Sales Agent, you will support customers in choosing broadband, mobile, and wider communications solutions that match their needs. The role is centred on delivering a strong customer experience while also contributing to sales performance and the company’s wider goal of being Ireland’s preferred communications provider.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage inbound customer enquiries and take part in outbound sales activity when needed.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend the most appropriate products or services.
  • Close new sales, handle recontracting for existing customers, and support retention where relevant.
  • Develop strong customer relationships built on trust and professionalism.
  • Meet and exceed targets related to sales, retention, and quality.
  • Use upselling, cross-selling, and lead generation to support business growth.
  • Take part in training and coaching sessions to build capability and product knowledge.
  • Represent the eir brand in a polished and professional manner.
  • Spot opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
  • Contribute positively to overall team success in a busy contact centre setting.

  • Knowledge of the telecommunications sector is helpful but not required.
