About the Role

Our Café's Back of House team plays a vital role in crafting delicious meals such as our famous big breakfast and perfectly toasted teacakes. Beyond using fresh ingredients, this team ensures exceptional kitchen hygiene and consistent food quality, directly contributing to the delightful customer experience.

As a team member dedicated to excellent service, you will guarantee every meal meets our menu's high standards while maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the kitchen. This key position offers fulfilling variety and enables you to positively impact daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Serve customers promptly, effectively, and courteously.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene guidelines, including maintaining daily documentation.
• Implement first in, first out (FIFO) inventory rotation to ensure food freshness.
• Receive deliveries and manage safe storage of food products.
• Comply with all operational policies and procedures.
• Prepare, cook, and serve food items as specified in the café's menu.
• Ensure food quality standards are consistently met and stock availability is maintained.
• Possess thorough knowledge of the café menu and serve dishes according to established specifications.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues to the Café Manager as needed.
• Stay informed regarding company communications and new initiatives.
