About the Role
As a vital part of our café's back-of-house crew, you will ensure every dish meets our high standards, from our famous big breakfast to toasted teacakes. Your duties include food preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and guaranteeing consistent quality that delights our customers daily. This dynamic role offers variety and the chance to positively impact each customer's experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Provide quick, caring, and efficient customer service.
- Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene protocols, keeping accurate daily records.
- Use first in, first out (FIFO) methods to manage stock and ensure freshness.
- Receive deliveries and securely store food items.
- Comply with all operational procedures and policies.
- Prepare, cook, and serve food precisely according to café standards.
- Ensure continuous availability of menu items while maintaining quality standards.
- Thoroughly understand the menu and serve items as intended.
- Address customer complaints tactfully and report to Café Manager as needed.
- Stay informed on business updates and participate in new initiatives.
