Job description

About the Role

This contract position is for a CAD specialist to support ScreenSpot Plus by capturing screenshots from professional design software and annotating interface elements for AI training and evaluation. The work is fully remote and intended for experienced users who understand real-world CAD workflows.

The organization connects high-caliber creative and technical professionals with AI research teams. It is backed by well-known investors in the technology and venture capital space.

What You’ll Do

  • Produce crisp, high-quality screenshots while working through authentic, expert-level CAD tasks.
  • Label interactive parts of the user interface, including buttons, menus, panels, toolbars, and dialog windows, in a precise and consistent way.
  • Draft easy-to-read task prompts in natural English that mirror how experienced users actually work in the software.
  • Refine your work based on feedback during the pilot stage so the output meets quality expectations before wider rollout.

Must-Have Background

  • Professional, hands-on experience using CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA, Revit, or Siemens NX.
  • Solid familiarity with the daily workflow and interface behavior of your CAD tools.
  • Careful attention to detail and the discipline to follow strict capture and annotation instructions.
  • Strong written English skills for creating task directions.
  • Access to the necessary CAD software so screenshots can be generated reliably.

Compensation

The pay rate for this contract role is $70 to $90 per hour.

Application Steps
