About the Opportunity
An airline recruitment event is being organized in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, for candidates interested in joining the cabin crew team. The complete venue and timetable will be communicated 3 to 5 days before the event.
This role offers the chance to represent the airline on board, deliver excellent passenger service, and help ensure a safe, comfortable, and positive flying experience throughout the journey.
Role Purpose
The cabin crew member serves as the airline’s public face, helping build customer loyalty and a strong corporate image through attentive service and professional conduct. The role combines hospitality, safety, and operational responsibility, with a strong focus on readiness, productivity, and adherence to company procedures.
Responsibilities
- Arrive on time for assigned flights, maintain a polished appearance, remain fit for duty, and follow all legal and operational requirements. Attend pre-flight briefings to understand flight details, role allocations, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
- Guide passengers on safety rules and ensure their wellbeing and comfort throughout the flight.
- Watch for safety or security concerns and work with the Cabin Supervisor to address them in line with standard procedures.
- Provide first aid support when needed.
- Report operational issues, malfunctions, or irregularities promptly to the Cabin Supervisor, flight crew, or Captain, as appropriate.
- Welcome passengers, support boarding, and complete required logbook entries according to airline and aviation authority procedures.
- Deliver attentive service by responding to passenger bookings, requests, and individual needs.
- Support passengers who are distressed, unwell, or facing difficulties, following the relevant manual and instructions.
- Promote onboard sales, meals, products, and charity initiatives to help achieve personal and team targets.
- Handle cash and card transactions carefully and securely for sales and donations.
- Complete pre-flight checks to confirm supplies, emergency gear, catering items, and other required equipment are available; report shortfalls to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
- Help ensure the cabin is properly cleaned at transit points and that catering and duty-free stock are replenished before departure.
- Support smooth handovers with catering, cleaning, and maintenance teams.
- Prepare post-flight reports and assessments, including feedback on the Cabin Supervisor, flight issues, and duty-free container sealing/closing.
- Take responsibility for passenger conduct when required and perform Cabin Supervisor duties if assigned by the Captain.
- Keep professional knowledge current through recurrent training, emergency procedure training, and learning sessions, while maintaining a valid license.
- Contribute to team performance by meeting assigned sales goals and other operational objectives.
Important Requirements
- Applicants should be between 20 and 29 years old for non-experienced cabin crew, or up to 33 years old for experienced cabin crew.
- Minimum height must be 160 cm for women and 170 cm for men.
- Body weight should be proportionate to height and age.
- Visible tattoos or marks are not permitted when wearing the cabin crew uniform, and the candidate should have clear skin in that regard.
- Applicants must be medically and physically capable of carrying out cabin crew duties.
- Swimming ability with the help of a flotation device is required.
- A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable; a diploma in Travel or Tourism is considered a plus.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is beneficial.
- The candidate should be fit to fly, in good general health, and free from serious or chronic medical conditions.
- A friendly, well-presented, cheerful, and calm personality is expected, even under pressure.
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to understand and respond to passenger needs are important.
- Applicants should be able to manage difficult situations and upset customers while protecting the airline’s image.
- The role calls for alertness in identifying risks, handling emergencies, and resolving issues effectively.
- Self-motivation, initiative, and strong teamwork are needed.
- Excellent spoken and written English is required; other languages are beneficial depending on airline needs.
- Good communication, time management, problem-solving, and Microsoft Office skills are expected.

- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
