Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and professional Cabana Waiter to enhance the guest experience at our luxury resort in Abu Dhabi. This role involves providing attentive and friendly service to guests using our cabana facilities, ensuring that their visit is both comfortable and memorable. Responsibilities include taking food and beverage orders, serving drinks and light snacks, and keeping the cabana area clean and organized. Success in this fast-paced environment requires focus, efficiency, and a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction.

Key Duties

• Warmly welcome guests and offer attentive, courteous service throughout their cabana experience.
• Accurately record orders and relay them to kitchen and bar promptly.
• Serve beverages, including cocktails, and light refreshments with a professional approach and close attention to detail.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and drink options to provide useful recommendations.
• Keep the cabana area clean, well-stocked, and orderly at all times.
• Continuously monitor guests’ satisfaction and respond quickly to any requests or concerns.
• Handle payment processes precisely, managing cash and point-of-sale transactions securely.
• Manage multiple guests and cabanas simultaneously without compromising service quality.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and food hygiene standards and protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

Health and Safety Responsibilities

• Follow all organizational occupational safety and health (OSH) guidelines and safe working practices.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe working environment for yourself, colleagues, and guests.
• Do not interfere with or misuse any safety systems or equipment provided.
• Report hazards, near misses, or unsafe conditions immediately to designated personnel.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and comply with safety procedures.
• Participate actively in OSH training and emergency evacuation drills.
• Take part in OSH initiatives such as risk assessments and hazard control activities.

Authority and Accountability

• Empowered to halt any unsafe activity in the workplace.
• Expected to report and communicate OSH issues with supervisors and management.
• Accountable for following OSH policies and maintaining personal and equipment safety.
• Required to attend all necessary training sessions and briefings and adhere to them closely.
• Responsible for protecting the wellbeing of oneself and others affected by your work.
