Role Overview
The Buying Assistant for Mens will support the buying team with day-to-day operations, order handling, vendor communication, and administrative coordination. This is a permanent full-time role suited to someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy environment with limited supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and maintain purchase orders from start to finish.
- Track and verify order confirmations.
- Review and update trend information and product detail tags.
- Follow up on shipment differences and delivery updates.
- Prepare and share selling reports with vendors.
- Handle vendor paperwork, new brand documentation requests, and fur-related documents.
- Coordinate sample requests and monitor sample movement and status.
- Maintain filing systems and keep records organized and current.
- Respond to emails promptly and professionally.
- Support management with additional tasks and assignments as needed.

Qualifications
- A degree in Fashion, Merchandising, Merchandising Management, or a related field is required.
- Working knowledge of Gmail, Excel, Word, and internet navigation tools.
- Prior experience in data entry is required.
- Preferred background: at least 2 years in a showroom, buying office, or fashion-industry environment, ideally with exposure to footwear.
Compensation
For California-based hires, the estimated base hourly pay is $23.00 to $24.00 per hour.
