About the Property
Raffles & Fairmont the Red Sea is part of a landmark development in Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea Project, offering guests access to two nature-led resorts. The destination includes 361 rooms, 11 unique dining experiences, an overwater restaurant overlooking the Red Sea and mangroves, and a spa.
Raffles The Red Sea is positioned as a refined, luxurious retreat within the Red Sea destination. It combines the brand’s signature warm, attentive service with the area’s natural setting and sustainability-focused approach to create a highly curated experience for discerning travelers.
Role Overview
The Butler will serve as the main guest contact, delivering highly personalized support from the time of pre-arrival through to departure. The role focuses on creating seamless, private, and memorable service across villa or suite stays, while upholding the highest standards of luxury hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored, attentive support to guests throughout their stay, from arrival planning to checkout.
- Manage discreet check-in and check-out processes within the privacy of the guest’s villa or suite.
- Coordinate premium valet-style services such as packing and unpacking, garment pressing, and shoe polishing.
- Arrange in-villa dining, including afternoon tea, evening canapés, and private meal service, with strong attention to presentation.
- Anticipate guest preferences and design bespoke experiences, themed journeys, and itineraries that reflect the resort’s offerings.
- Work closely with Culinary, Housekeeping, and Concierge teams to ensure smooth service delivery across departments.
- Represent the brand’s emotional luxury approach by maintaining gracious, polished, and thoughtful guest interactions.
- Follow all hygiene, safety, and service procedures in line with Raffles and Accor standards.
- Support the resort’s sustainability values through careful resource use and the promotion of local cultural experiences.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a similar discipline.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in luxury hospitality, ideally in Butler service or Front Office leadership within a high-end hotel or resort.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and guest-handling abilities, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Fluent English is required; knowledge of Arabic and other languages is an added advantage.
- Strong appreciation of luxury service standards and the cultural expectations of Saudi Arabia.
- Prior exposure to pre-opening operations is highly preferred.
Additional Information
- Understanding of ultra-luxury guest expectations and strong alignment with premium brand standards.
- Background in project coordination, scheduling, and document control during pre-opening phases is beneficial.
- Self-driven, proactive, and accountable in day-to-day work.
- Must maintain immaculate grooming and a professional appearance that matches luxury service expectations.
