Role overview
Hayani is building its opening team in De Waterkant, Cape Town, and is seeking enthusiastic hospitality professionals. This position goes beyond a standard front-of-house service role and is suited to people who want to grow their capabilities across guest service, coffee, cocktails, and food.
What you will do
- Welcome guests and deliver attentive front-of-house service.
- Prepare coffee and carry out barista tasks.
- Mix and serve cocktails.
- Assist with basic food preparation and support kitchen operations.
- Share the background and stories behind menu items and drinks.
What we are looking for
We are looking for team members who enjoy working with people, have a genuine interest in food and beverage culture, and are open to learning across several hospitality disciplines. Strong energy, professionalism, and a careful eye for detail are important.
Experience
Prior exposure to hospitality, coffee service, bartending, or kitchen work would be beneficial, though it is not a requirement.
