Job description
About Hermanson Company
Hermanson Company is a leading Mechanical company with a strong presence in the Puget Sound area since 1979. Evolving from a family-owned sheet metal contractor to a full-service mechanical construction, design, and maintenance provider, Hermanson plays a significant role in the national construction industry. We are committed to fostering a positive work environment where highly motivated individuals, who are professional, ethically sound, and dedicated to quality, can thrive. Our culture is built on shared Core Values: Clients First, Family Matters, Character Matters, Teamwork, Appreciation, and a commitment to Learn, Grow, and Innovate.
The Role
As a fast-growing specialty construction firm, Hermanson Company is developing an integrated, cloud-based Microsoft platform to enhance information accessibility and streamline daily operations. This role is crucial for managing mid-sized, high-priority initiatives aimed at optimizing and automating business processes, reports, and systems across the organization. The Business Transformation Analyst will guide these initiatives from initial concept through to successful implementation, adoption, and measurable impact. This position requires a blend of business analysis expertise and hands-on project ownership, involving defining requirements, facilitating workshops, building consensus, managing scope, and ensuring initiatives progress smoothly from conception to deployment.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead assigned initiatives from inception to completion, defining scope, success metrics, and execution plans.
- Utilize one-page roadmaps for progress tracking and proactive communication with leadership.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business challenges, gather detailed requirements, and perform fit-gap analyses.
- Partner with internal and external technical experts to design solutions that address business needs and highlight Hermanson's unique strengths.
- Facilitate productive workshops to understand stakeholder needs and drive consensus on process changes aligned with business objectives.
- Develop and implement training programs, communication strategies, and support structures to ensure successful employee adoption of new processes and systems.
- Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of new processes, demonstrate value delivered, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Accumulate over 5 years of experience in business process analysis and project management, with a proven history of leading initiatives from ambiguous problems to successful outcomes.
- Demonstrate strong fundamental management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business process owners and manage scope within defined initiatives.
- Exhibit the capacity to work independently and autonomously throughout the business transformation lifecycle with minimal supervision.
- Show a consistent track record of optimizing business processes and enhancing systems.
- Proficiency in process mapping, documenting requirements, and implementing industry best practices.
- Communicate effectively and crisply across all organizational levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working within or for specialty construction companies.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics AX or D365.
- Hold relevant certifications in project management, business analysis, or process improvement.
- Experience with data analytics and visualization tools.
- Demonstrated success in applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) in practical business settings.
