Role Overview
This role is tailored for a Business Systems Administrator with proficient experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. You will be the internal expert and steward of our ERP system, focusing on administration, enhancement, and the continuous advancement of our business technology infrastructure. Your responsibilities include optimizing workflows, automating processes, and ensuring that our systems effectively facilitate business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and fine-tune Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central configurations.
- Manage user setup, access control, workflows, and system parameters.
- Detect opportunities to automate manual operations and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with department heads (Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Operations, Product Management) to optimize business processes.
- Resolve technical issues related to Business Central in partnership with external vendors when necessary.
- Manage system testing, upgrades, and deployment of new functionalities in Business Central.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics using Business Central and Power BI.
- Document system processes and maintain standard operation manuals.
- Train and assist users across various teams.
- Support integration and technical enhancements of business applications.
- Coordinate with the Managed Service Provider to address infrastructure concerns.
- Contribute to ongoing business process improvements through technological solutions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Thorough knowledge of ERP system configuration, workflows, and operational processes.
- Familiarity with supporting Finance, Operations, Sales, Inventory, Manufacturing, or Customer Service functions.
- Experience working with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks independently and effectively engage with external consultants and partners.
- Experience or knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, or integration of business applications is advantageous.
