Job description
About the Company
adjoe develops the technology that powers mobile app growth and monetization. Its core product, Playtime Arcade, is a leading rewarded advertising solution that lets users earn in-app rewards for trying new apps. This model connects advertisers and publishers with more than 770 million users each year.
Role Overview
The Advertising Analytics team handles the analysis, improvement, and protection of ad delivery systems. More than 440 million ad events are processed every day, and the team focuses on identifying fraud patterns, monitoring traffic quality, and spotting anomalies so that advertisers are protected, revenue is safeguarded, and the business can scale with trust.
In this role, you will work on the analytical layer behind fraud detection, investigating suspicious behavior and technical signals across a large, asynchronous ad delivery environment. You will use Python and Airflow to support analytical infrastructure and help turn findings into clear business decisions.
Key Focus Areas

- Investigate issues across systems that handle 440 million ad events per day.
- Analyse asynchronous ad delivery flows spanning more than 2,000 games from studios worldwide.
- Contribute to scalable reporting, monitoring, and alerting rather than only one-off analysis.
- Use BI tools and analytical workflows to support fraud prevention and operational decisions.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a Data, AdOps, or BizOps role.
- Strong SQL skills, including CTEs, joins, and aggregations.
- Comfort working with complex and asynchronous systems.
- Ability to diagnose, resolve, or prioritize technical and data-related anti-fraud issues.
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight, or similar platforms.
- Exposure to Airflow, dbt, or API integrations is considered an advantage.
- Previous work in anti-fraud, anomaly detection, AdTech, or mobile app analytics is a plus.
Additional Information
This position is based in Hamburg, Germany, and relocation support is available for candidates who are ready to move. Applications are welcomed from talent worldwide. adjoe also states that it values diversity and encourages people who will strengthen the company’s diverse culture to apply.
