Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of a top-tier financial services and payments company for a Business Program Manager role based in Dublin on a contract basis. This position plays a pivotal role supporting a significant integration and transformation project within a highly regulated industry setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of business readiness plans that align with programme delivery schedules.
- Lead readiness assessments to make go/no-go decisions, manage risks, issues, actions, dependencies (RAID), and facilitate governance reporting.
- Coordinate readiness efforts relating to personnel, processes, controls, support frameworks, training programs, and service operations.
- Drive the transition of new capabilities into business-as-usual (BAU) operations, ensuring adoption and embedding across the organisation.
- Manage communications strategies, engage stakeholders effectively, and oversee training and change management initiatives.
- Assist commercialisation objectives by preparing propositions, refining customer journeys, and coordinating go-to-market activities.
- Collaborate closely with multiple functions including Product, Technology, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Compliance, and Finance teams.
- Generate executive-level reports, prepare governance documentation, record meeting minutes, and maintain comprehensive action tracking.
Essential Experience and Skills
- Substantial programme or project management background within banking, payments, or financial services sectors.
- Demonstrated success in operational readiness, business transformation, or integration programme delivery.
- Expertise managing large cross-functional initiatives encompassing both business and technology teams.
- Strong capabilities in governance practices, including RAID management, dependency oversight, and high-level executive reporting.
- Proven experience overseeing transition-to-BAU activities and engaging diverse stakeholders throughout the process.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational competencies.
- Background in payments, merchant acquiring, or regulated financial services environments is highly advantageous.
