Business Planning Analyst - Shopee International Platform Operations

The Shopee International Platform (SIP) Operations team functions as the data-driven core of our cross-border e-commerce business. We diligently monitor significant operational performance indicators, utilize analytical models to address complex challenges, and spearhead impactful projects from outset to completion. Our close collaboration with local and regional stakeholders aims to enhance operational workflows, minimize expenses, and provide a flawless experience for users worldwide.

Role Overview

The Cross Border team enables global sellers to reach customers across Southeast Asia and Taiwan, managing seven markets with services including logistics, operations, payments, product support, warehouse fulfillment, and business intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Independently track and evaluate essential operational metrics such as cancellation rates and refund frequencies to ensure smooth daily functions.
• Analyze data sets and apply data-driven methodologies to define and resolve operational issues effectively.
• Manage end-to-end operational initiatives, assuming full ownership from project inception and objective setting through execution, cross-department coordination, and post-project review.
• Work collaboratively with local and regional teams addressing daily operational challenges and implementing new projects aimed at cost reduction and process optimization.

Requirements

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in business or science; a master’s degree is a plus but not mandatory.
• At least one year of professional experience in e-commerce, retail buying, or business analytics is highly desirable.
• Strong aptitude for data interpretation that supports critical decision-making and meeting business goals.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with SQL is advantageous.
• Results-driven with strong teamwork abilities, thriving in dynamic environments focused on growth.
