Job description
Opportunity Overview
Stranger Soccer is growing across major cities worldwide and is seeking a License Owner to launch and manage the business in Berlin. This is a founder-style opportunity for someone who wants to create, run, and expand their own local venture while helping make football more accessible in the city.
What This Role Involves
The position is built for a driven entrepreneur who is excited by football and wants to take ownership of a city-based business. You will be responsible for introducing the brand locally, building operations, and developing a player base through strong execution and community connection.
Key Responsibilities
- Introduce the Stranger Soccer brand and establish it in your assigned city.
- Recruit, coach, and oversee a compact core team of 2-3 people, plus freelance Official Hosts who run games.
- Find and secure suitable venues and time slots for matches.
- Plan and carry out marketing and sales activities online and offline to attract players.
- Run day-to-day game operations so customers consistently have a strong experience and return to play again.
- Use the systems, operational support, and technology guidance provided by the Singapore headquarters.
Candidate Profile
You should be deeply interested in football and well connected to the local football scene. The ideal person has a background in business, management, or customer-facing work, along with a self-starter mindset and the ability to build something from the ground up. Prior startup or business experience is helpful, but not mandatory.
About Stranger Soccer
Football has billions of fans worldwide, but regular play remains far less accessible than it should be. Stranger Soccer aims to change that by making it simple to join a game, almost as easy as going for a jog or visiting the gym. Using its mobile app, people can discover games, book instantly, and turn up to play. Founded in Singapore, the company now operates in more than 10 cities and has delivered over 100,000 games. It is actively looking for license partners who want to bring the platform to their own city.
Mission and Vision
Mission: To make playing football as effortless as going for a jog.
Vision: To create a world where playing football is as common and widely enjoyed as watching it.
How to Explore the Opportunity
Interested candidates are encouraged to review the company website, especially the section about bringing Stranger Soccer to your city, learn more about the opportunity, and complete the interest form. Downloading and trying the mobile app is also recommended to better understand the product.
Compensation Note
Earnings are tied directly to business performance, effort, and the success of the local operation.
