About the Role
The Partnerships Solutions team within Global Partnerships is dedicated to delivering strategy and operations, go-to-market solutions, and industry expertise to Knowledge and Insights Partnerships (K&IP). This team is instrumental in managing the transformation process required to enhance the partnerships team’s capabilities and enable optimal functioning of the K&IP unit. Their scope includes providing business insights, strategic advisory on vertical markets and organizational frameworks, driving operational efficiency, crafting executive summaries, and supporting product commercialization efforts.
In this role, reporting to the Head of Strategy and Operations, you will manage business operations for K&IP across EMEA. The position demands a dynamic blend of investigative problem solving and hands-on operational execution while collaborating with partnership teams globally. Close partnership with the EMEA Vice President and regional leads is essential to steer projects, manage workflows, and deliver impactful data-driven insights. A firm grasp of Global Partnerships and Partnership Solutions is required to simplify complexities and uphold high standards in initiative execution.
The Global Partnerships organization explores collaborative business opportunities with Google's partners to augment user experiences across numerous Google products including advertising, Search, Maps, and more. The team cultivates partnerships, establishes go-to-market approaches, and fosters growth initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Drive the execution of cross-functional projects and initiatives, coordinating with teams such as Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Legal to ensure adherence to timelines and deliverables.
- Support critical business operation functions including strategic planning, objectives and key results (OKR) tracking, and managing the regular cadence of business outputs.
- Apply data analytics to monitor key business metrics and aid in developing data or AI solutions to enhance team efficiency and insight generation.
- Address challenges in business operations by recommending and implementing process improvements to boost team productivity and cooperation across functions.
- Create clear, succinct communication materials and narratives to inform internal stakeholders and leadership updates effectively.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is mandatory.
- At least 6 years of experience in Management Consulting.
- Demonstrated background in core business operations such as annual business planning, headcount management, business reviews, or goal setting.
- Experience engaging with executive-level clients or stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analysis and generating data-backed insights utilizing SQL or similar investigative tools.
- MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Proven ability to collaborate across multiple teams without direct authority, driving operational excellence and managing change.
- Strong analytical skills including financial modeling and familiarity with tools like Google Sheets, Python, SQL, and Looker for problem-solving and leadership influence.
- Corporate environment experience is beneficial.
- Skilled in crafting tailored reporting and presentations that resonate with varied audiences, fostering productive dialogues and advancing efficiency.
