Job description

About the company

Bezos.ai runs a fulfilment-as-a-service platform for online sellers. Merchants connect channels such as Amazon, eBay, and Shopify, and the platform coordinates the rest: it routes orders through a worldwide network of warehouse and delivery partners, tracks parcels all the way to the buyer, and gives sellers a single view of their supply chain. The team is small, fast-paced, and AI-first, and the business is scaling rapidly with plans to nearly double in 2026. Operations is at the centre of that growth: when it works smoothly, sellers can expand and the platform compounds value.

Role overview

You will take ownership of a substantial part of the operations function from end to end, while also building the systems, automations, and playbooks that allow the network to grow without increasing headcount. This role owns the daily operational rhythm of the platform: ensuring tickets are completed within service levels, reconciling data across tools, investigating orders that have gone missing or stalled, managing warehouse and carrier SLA compliance, and converting repeated operational issues into permanent solutions. Those solutions may come in the form of Claude skills or agents, Retool dashboards, or automations built in Make.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain clean operational flow by reconciling data across the Bezos Platform, WMS, and Operations Dashboard every day, then identifying and resolving missing, delayed, or mismatched orders before sellers are affected.
  • Track partner performance across warehouses and carriers, ensure service levels are met, and manage invoice checks and escalations against agreed rate cards.
  • Eliminate repetitive manual work by creating AI-powered workflows, automations, and dashboards so the team can scale output without growing headcount.
  • Resolve seller-facing operational tickets quickly, trace the root cause, and put upstream fixes in place so the same issue does not keep returning.
  • Take ownership of an assigned portion of the warehouse/carrier network and manage its performance reviews and invoice reconciliation independently.
  • Contribute to company-wide operational metrics and help move key goals such as despatch rate, contact rate, and resolution time in the right direction.
  • Present findings and progress clearly in weekly metrics reviews.

First 90-day outcomes

  • Own daily cross-system reconciliation and reduce unresolved order exceptions to nearly zero.
  • Launch at least one automation, Claude skill, or agent that removes a recurring manual task from the team’s weekly workload.
  • Independently manage a segment of the warehouse and carrier portfolio, including performance reviews and invoice reconciliation.
  • Improve at least one company OKR, such as despatch rate, contact rate, or resolution time, and report on it in the weekly metrics review.

Requirements

  • You are comfortable using Claude or a similar AI tool to build autonomous workflows, skills, or agents that perform work without constant supervision; this is a core requirement and you should be able to demonstrate what you built and how human oversight is maintained.
  • You work independently, take ambiguous problems from start to finish, and stay ahead of what is being asked of you.
  • You have strong numerical and analytical ability, ideally backed by a degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative subject such as engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or a numerate economics, finance, or social science track.
  • You can point to measurable outcomes you have delivered, such as cost reduction, faster processes, or improved KPIs.
  • You are a builder who does more than identify broken processes; you create the fix through tools, automation, process redesign, or playbooks that others rely on.
  • You enjoy startup environments, operate well in ambiguity, move quickly, and are comfortable owning a broad remit.
  • You communicate clearly in writing and verbally, present conclusions simply, and give practical next steps.
  • Helpful experience includes e-commerce, logistics, 3PL, or supply-chain operations.
  • Additional advantages include light coding skills in Python, SQL, or JavaScript, or familiarity with no-code tools such as Make, Zapier, Retool, or Airtable.
  • Experience managing external partners or vendors against SLAs is beneficial.
  • Experience mentoring, training, or managing 1-2 people is a plus.

Benefits

  • Work in a truly AI-native environment using Claude, Retool, and Make every day, with the freedom and budget to automate parts of your own role.
  • Play a major part in shaping a growing company at the leading edge of e-commerce operations.
  • Join a workplace that is entrepreneurial, fast-moving, results-driven, disciplined, collaborative, team-oriented, and enjoyable.
  • Gain strong opportunities for growth, learning, and meaningful impact.
  • The team works remotely, with in-person meetups a couple of times each month.
  • Receive 25 days of holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
  • Access mental health support through Spill and a complimentary Headspace subscription.

Work arrangement

The role is fully remote, though the team meets in person a few times each month. The location listed is London, England, United Kingdom.
